Bozeman Symphony Presents Free Summer Concert in Seeley Lake
BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Bozeman Symphony invites the public to enjoy free live music on Monday, Aug. 24, at Double Arrow Resort, 301 Lodge Way, in Seeley Lake.
From 4:45 to 5:45 p.m., Symphony Principal Oboe Sandy Stimson and Principal Timpani Jeff Vick will perform an eclectic selection of duets featuring oboe and percussion. The performance will take place before Montana Shakespeare in the Parks’ presentation of Much Ado About Nothing, scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m.
The concert is part of the Symphony’s Far Afield concert series, a community outreach initiative that has brought free live classical music to rural and underserved communities throughout the Greater Yellowstone region for more than 30 years.
Through Far Afield, Bozeman Symphony musicians travel to communities across Montana, bringing live music directly to audiences and creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience the power and joy of a live orchestral performance close to home.
The concert is free and open to the public. For more information and concert updates, visit bozemansymphony.org or call (406) 585-9774.
