Bozeman Symphony Presents Free Summer Ensemble Concert in Dillon

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Bozeman Symphony invites the community to a free ensemble performance in Dillon on Friday, Aug. 1, just before the 6 p.m. showing of As You Like It by Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.

Enjoy a beautiful summer evening of music and theater as flutists Sue Makeever and Megan Makeever perform a duet beginning at 4:45 p.m. at Legacy Plaza on the University of Montana Western campus.

Presented in partnership with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, this concert is part of a statewide series of free summer performances featuring Bozeman Symphony ensembles. These hour-long, open-air concerts precede select MSIP productions across Montana, offering audiences an enriching fusion of live classical music and Shakespearean drama.

The series is part of the Symphony’s Far Afield outreach initiative, which for more than 30 years has brought high-quality symphonic music to rural and underserved communities throughout the Greater Yellowstone region. Far Afield concerts aim to connect and inspire Montanans of all ages through the transformative power of music.
