Bozeman Symphony Presents Symphony Storytime Featuring the Bass Trombone at Bozeman Public Library

BOZEMAN, Mont. — The Bozeman Symphony invites children and families to a lively Symphony Storytime featuring the bass trombone on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:15 a.m. at the Bozeman Public Library.

This free, interactive program presented in partnership with the Library’s Toddler and Preschool Storytime blends engaging storytelling with live music to create a joyful, enriching experience designed especially for children ages 3–5.

The program features Bozeman Symphony Principal Bass Trombone Lisa Stoneham, joined by a special guest reader, Eliese Besemer, the Bozeman Symphony’s Patron Services Manager. Together, they will bring a beloved children’s story to life through the expressive combination of words and music.

Following the reading, Stoneham will introduce young audiences to the bass trombone through a brief, interactive demonstration. Children will explore rhythm and sound in a fun, accessible way while learning how the instrument works.

Families are also encouraged to mark their calendars for the final Symphony Storytime of the season on Wednesday, June 10, at 10:15 a.m., at the Bozeman Public Library, featuring the saxophone.
