Where do BSO concerts take place?
Our regular season concerts and a few special events take place at the Willson Auditorioum, 404 W. Main Street Bozeman, MT 59715.  Other venues we use include Reynolds Recital Hall, The Shane Lalani Center in Livingston, The Ellen Theater & Holy Rosary Church.  Directions can be found by using google maps.

I can’t make it to the concert. What should I do with my tickets?
Although all BSO ticket sales are final, season subscribers may exchange tickets (no later than 3 days prior to performance), subject to availability. You may also make a tax-deductible contribution by donating the tickets to the BSO.

How can I prepare for the concert?
Get connected by joining BSO’s Newsletter list or by becoming our friend on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

How long are the concerts?
Most concerts are roughly 2 hours long, including a 20-minute intermission halfway through the performance.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for BSO concerts—the important thing is that you feel comfortable and that your attire doesn’t prevent you from enjoying the music. Since our concerts attract a diverse audience, you will find people wearing everything from casual clothing to cocktail dresses.

Where can I park?
Parking at the Willson Auditorium can be tricky.  Please allow plenty of time to find space before performances.  On-street parking (on Main street and the side streets around the Willson) is the most popular option.  Handicapped spots are available on Main street in front of the Willson and in the rear parking lot off of Babcock.  There is also limited senior parking in the rear parking lot off of Babcock as well as on the West side of the Willson off of 5th street.

Am I allowed to record the performance?
Out of respect for BSO’s agreement with our performers, the use of cameras or recording equipment is strictly prohibited in the concert hall. Please silence all electronic devices, including cellular phones and watches.

When should I clap?
In the last few decades, it has become traditional concert etiquette to clap only after an entire piece is complete. However, we don’t mind when you clap.  Whenever you feel moved enough to clap- please go right ahead!

How long is the intermission?
Our classical concerts typically have one intermission, which lasts 15-20 minutes. Please make sure you are in your seat before the 20 minutes is up- we want to make sure you get to enjoy the rest of the show. People who are not in their seats by the end of intermission, by the time the music starts- may be asked to wait until an appropriate pause in the program.

Can I meet the musicians afterwards?
Our Maestro and soloists usually attend the post-concert reception, immediately following each performance when offered.  Locations change, so be sure to check your program to find out where each concert's reception will be held.  We welcome the opportunity to meet patrons and hear feedback about the concert anytime by contacting us.

Are refreshments available before performances & during intermissions?
Coffee and water are available for purchase before the concert and during intermission in the lobby. Additionally, locally-made Bequet caramels and La Chatelaine chocolates are available for purchase at intermission.

Can I bring my own food or beverages into the auditorium?
Food and beverages are not allowed in Willson Auditorium, with the exception of water in a bottle which can be resealed. Refreshments are to be enjoyed in the lobby and hallways.

I’ve accidentally left something behind after a performance! What do I do?

What happens if I arrive after a performance is underway?
