With out our extrordinary volunteer network, the Bozeman Symphony would not be able to provide the quality performances and events that we do. We have over 150 volunteers working thoughout the season in various capacities. Concerts: Setting up and serving refreshments to musicians at dress rehearsals Validating admittance passes to dress rehearsals Dress rehearsal monitor Selling RUSH tickets Fridays before concert weekends Selling tickets at the door prior to concerts Ushering at concerts Selling refreshments at concert intermissions CD sales at intermission and after concerts (when applicable) Orchestra refreshments during intermission Planning and setting up post-concert receptions Serving at receptions Providing food for receptions Support Activities: Writing articles for the newsletter Providing clerical help in the BSO office Helping with season tickets Helping with mailings Distributing posters or other promotional materials Providing transportation for guest artists (e.g. to and from airport or around town) Hosting a small dinner for guest artists Providing baby-sitting service for children of guest artists Providing a place to stay for musicians from out-of-town Special Events: Party for musicians Post concert receptions after season opening concerts September 29 & 30 (decorating, set-up, clean-up, food) Celebrate the Players (telethon fund-raiser to benefit the musicians) Pops Concert, November 17, 2007 (decorating, clean-up, auction) Adams Foundation Piano Recital Series, October 19, 2007 and January 18, 2008 (ticket sales, usher, possible reception) Any other talent or skill you are willing to share with the Symphony organization. |
