We’ll take you from the virtuosic, to the playful, to the sublime in this highly eclectic program with a little something for everyone.

The program begins with the epic forces of the most popular (and dazzling) tone poem ever written: Liszt’s Les Preludes. Next we’ll enchant you with the beautiful harmonies, vivid orchestral colors and famous melodies of Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1. Finally, for the third concerto performance of our new Steinway grand piano, we’ll welcome back Bozeman favorite and gold medalist of the 10th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Jon Nakamatsu, performing Johannes Brahms’ deeply profound 1st piano concerto. Commonly referred to as Brahms’ “5th Symphony” due to its vast scope and depth this presentation promises to be the most moving experience of the season.
